Ben O'Donoghue serves up Queensland feast in Hong Kong 

One of Queensland's most celebrated chefs, Ben O'Donoghue, arrived in Hong Kong last week to promote Queensland's culinary experiences at a four-day VIP event between 29 April - 2 May at the Mira Hotel.

The initiative, coordinated by Tourism and Events Queensland in partnership with Hong Kong Airlines, the Mira Hotel and Miramar Travel, saw guests sample a gourmet menu comprised of a diverse range of Queensland produce including Fraser Island spanner crab, Hervey Bay scallops, North Queensland Cobia and much more.

During the Labour Day holiday on Sunday 1 May, chef O'Donoghue treated guests to an Aussie BBQ lunch at the Mira Hotel's Whisk restaurant, serving up a taste of Queensland's alfresco dining and lifestyle experiences. His Queensland-themed menu will continue to be served until 11 May, inspiring guests to savour the many flavours that make Queensland the best address on earth. 

Miramar Travel have put together a special Queensland travel package with Hong Kong Airlines for guests to dine at Ben O'Donoghue's Billykart restaurant in Brisbane's West End. The package is being promoted in Hong Kong, with Whisk customers also receiving a discount on their tour bookings to Queensland.
