Outback Queensland offers an authentic live classroom with a wealth of educational opportunities. Immerse your students in a land where dinosaurs once roamed, where Australian legends were born and experience life on the land.

Teachers can take advantage of the Outback Queensland Education Experience Program:

  • Receive up to $150 per student attending.
  • Be further supported by the Outback Queensland Education Handbook which aligns themes of Outback Queensland to the Australian school curriculum.

This increase in subsidy funding for the next two years is proudly funded by the Commonwealth and Queensland Governments through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA). The increased amount for subsidy is only available for 2 years 2020 and 2021, and will return to a maximum $130 per student post this time period.

All Outback Education documents have pricing that is out of date, but information is still usable. Please follow the updated information on the "About the Education Subsidy" tab, or email outbackeducation@queensland.com for further questions.

See details below, download the subsidy Application Form and start planning the school camp of a lifetime!
