It is always a good idea to review the position description before applying. The position description is a useful tool to help you decide whether your skills are a match for the role. Your cover letter should be a one-to-two page introduction to you and your skills and succinctly highlight what you can bring to the position and to TEQ. You should select specific examples which demonstrate your suitability for the role.
Your resume should be no longer than three pages and should highlight the skills and experience you have which are most relevant to the position. Do not include a photo with your resume as it can appear unprofessional.
It is very important that your application doesn’t contain spelling or grammar mistakes, so it is always a good idea to have someone else proofread it for you.
