you think of hot springs, the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park and Hanmer Hot Springs in New Zealand immediately come to mind. However, you’ll soon be able to add Queensland’s Gulf Country to the list with the upcoming opening of \u003Ca href=\"https://www.talaroo.com.au/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ETalaroo Hot Springs\u003C/a\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: 0.8125rem; font-weight: normal;\"\u003E.\u003C/span\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\r\n\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EA 65-million-year-old geological wonder, the Talaroo Hot Springs are one of only two mound springs in Australia and the only one that is not fed by the Great Artesian Basin. Talaroo will open in May 2021 and feature private soaking pools, new boardwalk to view the springs, a caravan park and campground, onsite cafe, “Yarning Circle” firepit, and tours led by the Ewamian Traditional Owners.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003ELocated within 31,5000ha of rugged Savannah landscape, the hot springs are fed by water that travels for 20,000 years after falling in the neighbouring Newcastle Ranges.
