tourism industry’s flagship event on the Gold Coast.\u003C/li\u003E\r\n\u003Cli\u003EQueensland tourism operators to showcase products to key inbound partners.\u003C/li\u003E\r\n\u003Cli\u003EA familiarisation program will also show first-hand Queensland trade-ready products.\u003C/li\u003E\r\n\u003C/ul\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAustralia’s leading export tourism businesses will gather on the Gold Coast for one of the industry's key annual calendar events, the Australian Tourism Export Council’s (ATEC) Meeting Place.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe event will be held from 28 to 30 October 2024 and will bring more than 500 industry leaders, decision-makers, marketing and business development managers together with international travel buyers.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EOver three days, thousands of business meetings will take place which will set up a flow of international visitors over the coming years.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EA familiarisation program will run across the state as once buyers see first-hand why Queensland is a bucket list destination, then they can better sell it to international travellers.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe event will be delivered in partnership between ATEC, Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and Experience Gold Coast (EGC).\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EQueensland has hosted ATEC Meeting Place twice in three years, having hosted in Cairns in 2022, a key part of Queensland’s post-pandemic tourism recovery strategy to bring the key players in global travel distribution to
