BrisbanePlease join us for the DestinationQ 2021 forum in Brisbane on 11 November.
The DestinationQ partnership between Tourism and Events Queensland, Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport, and the Queensland Tourism Industry Council is the embodiment of a long-term commitment to focus on growing Queensland’s visitor economy as a leisure, business and education related destination.
The DestinationQ 2021 event will build upon the foundations set during the past forums, which have been overwhelming successes, attracting delegates from all sectors of the industry and across Queensland, including tourism operators, regional tourism organisations and state and local government representatives.
The annual DestinationQ forum is a full day event designed to be a catalyst for deeper collaboration, to sustain and grow Queensland's competitiveness.The theme of the forum is 'Looking forward to the future of tourism'.
The program will include up to five sessions supporting the conference theme including topics such as: (subject to change)
- Forward trends in tourism
- Queensland Action Plan for Tourism Recovery
- Our Restart: Delivering on the Promise
- Cultural and nature-based tourism
- Recognising the opportunity of the Olympics 2032

In 2021, the DestinationQ forum is planned for in-person delivery. Should COVID-19 conditions change, plans in are in place for a virtual or hybrid delivery methodology.
