Queensland Digital Roadshow USA 2017
Los Angeles and San Francisco
To provide participants with insights that will increase their digital marketing capabilities and help them build strategies and tactics that will allow participants to better use digital marketing platforms to drive conversation and build awareness.
This roadshow will include meetings with senior representatives of leading digital marketing and social media platforms who are based in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Eligibility to Participate
Tourism and Events Queensland reserves the right to evaluate and determine product participation on this roadshow.
Attendees should be either at an executive level, Head of Marketing or Head of Digital Marketing for their organisation.
A minimum of 10 attendees will be required for the Queensland Digital Roadshow to progress and participant numbers will be capped at 20. Participation will be limited to one representative per organisation.
The Digital Roadshow will run from Sunday 22nd October to Sunday 29th October and will consist of two nights in Los Angeles followed by 5 nights in San Francisco.
TEQ is confirming meetings with representatives of digital platforms such as facebook, instagram, TripAdvisor, Viatour and twitter, as well as other digital marketing platforms. The Digital Roadshow will also include meetings with tourism organisations such as Tourism Australia and a local Regional Tourism Organisation.
Each participant on the Queensland Digital Roadshow will be required to pay the costs associated with their attendance. The participation fee is A$4,500 (excluding GST) per person to be paid to TEQ. This includes accommodation, transfers, some functions and some meals.
Delegates must complete the Expression of Interest online, via Eventbrite, by Friday, 14th of July 2017.
