Fairymead House Sugar Museum, Bundaberg North

Tourism and Events Queensland invites tourism operators to attend the Storytelling Experience Development Workshop - The Bundaberg North Burnett Region.

Everyone loves a good story; it is through stories that we all connect. But what makes storytelling successful is the ability to use words and actions to tell a story that captures the imagination of your audience.

Facilitated by Russel Boswell from Boz Oz this workshop will provide your business with insights and practical steps to discover, develop, deliver and share stories with your guests. The workshop offers hands-on learning and practical industry examples. It covers:

  • How you can use storytelling within your tourism business

  • What makes a great story

  • What stories will best connect with your guests

  • How to use different storytelling techniques to capture the imagination and attention of your guest

If you’ve ever wanted to become a better story teller and improve your visitor experience, this is a program not to be missed!

‘Tell stories that your visitors will want to share with their friends and family when they get back home, or even better on social media’
