It's a beautiful place to holiday here
In response to the effects of the Australian bushfires and the coronavirus on Queensland's tourism industry, TEQ has launched a $2 million campaign showcasing to Australians why Queensland is 'a beautiful place to holiday here this year', leveraging Tourism Australia's campaign launched in late January.
The campaign launched on digital outlets and will also include television, out-of-home advertising and social media. A variety of retail activity will support the campaign with airline and trade partners.

Queensland tourism icon Robert Irwin has joined other Queensland tourism operators to feature in a new video which will be used across social platforms to tell Australians that Queensland is 'a beautiful place to holiday here this year' and invite them to visit.
Industry operators across the state are encouraged to share the video on their social platforms using the hashtags #HolidayHereThisYear and #thisisqueensland.
