Tourism and Events Queensland has this week launched a brand-new, world-class Queensland.com to market Queensland’s tourism and event experiences. The new-look Queensland.com has been redesigned and rebuilt using the world-leading Adobe platform and will deliver personalised experiences for aspiring travellers all around the world.
With more than half a million visitors per month, Queensland.com plays a key role in TEQ’s global marketing approach and there will be six global versions of the site in English and a further six translated sites.
While Queenslanders will be the first active targets for planning and booking holidays through the site, interstate and international markets are at the important ‘dreaming’ phase and the new Queensland.com provides a world-class platform for those travellers to plan their next Queensland holiday.

A key part of TEQ’s digital strategy is promoting tourism operators through the new Queensland.com utilising listings from the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW). The new Queensland.com has been built to significantly enhance ATDW listings and we focus on driving leads to the industry through our activities. Tourism and Events Queensland, in partnership with the regional tourism organisations, has waived annual membership fees for the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse. The fee waiver was be applied on 15 May 2020 and will extend memberships by 24 months from a businesses’ next membership renewal date.
