Queensland graces screens across Australia

Brand Queensland is being beamed across the Eastern seaboard as part of the $1.1 million ‘I know just the place’ campaign to lure visitors to the Sunshine State through spring and summer.

Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) is running the campaign which invites people to experience ‘the best address on earth.’

Stunning imagery features throughout the campaign which appears on traditional (television and cinema) and digital screens targeting holidaymakers in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and regional Queensland.

TEQ Chief Executive Officer Leanne Coddington said the campaign aimed to inspire target audiences to consider Queensland for their next holiday.

“This is one of our major campaigns for the year, inviting holidaymakers to put Queensland on the list for their next holiday,” Ms Coddington said.

“The emotive campaign puts the full suite of Queensland’s unique experiences in the spotlight to inspire holidaymakers and maximise visitation and expenditure,” she said.

“Locals know the best places and ways to enjoy their special part of Queensland and through this campaign they will share those secrets with the world,”

“This approach plays to our strengths, focusing on our unforgettable experiences in stunning scenery, as told by Queenslanders themselves,”

“We will assist tourism businesses to convert that inspiration into bookings via holiday deals listed on,”

“More than 200 deals from across Queensland are available on during the campaign,”

“We have also partnered with Sunlover Holidays to promote Queensland holiday deals throughout the campaign period.”

The campaign runs until 30 September 2017.
