05 November 2014

Want to know where to pop the question in Queensland? Which hotels are pooch friendly? Or how to spend 48 hours in the state’s prettiest beach town? Then head to the all-new Queensland.com/blog where the team that scours the state picking the best travel experiences for the world’s top media, now upload their own tales for everyone to read.

First launched in June 2012, the Queensland.com/blog has grown to 80,000 unique visitors a month and offers personal insights on destinations, tours and events to suit a raft of travel types from the hard-core camper to the fine diner, the yoga enthusiast, the diver, the family and more.

Not to be forgotten, even couples can find a sweet spot on the blog with a wedding and honeymoon category highlighting insider tips on unforgettable places to pop the question and 15 spots to tie the knot. Tech travellers can also find inspiration in posts that feature GoPro sequencing and the best travel apps of all time.

Trained journalists, digital gurus and PR experts form the team behind the Queensland.com/blog, adding three to five fresh posts each week to the 500 pieces of work already loaded.

The revamped blog features improved search functionality and is mobile responsive enabling smart phone and tablet users to easily view content on the go.

The blog also tracks the most popular post of the day, the week, the month and to date. Little surprise then that the most read blog goes to the belly of the traveller and is Five Gold Coast restaurants you can't miss

For the record, the second most popular post Fifty first dates in Brisbane speaks volumes about the world’s current love affair with the G20 host city.
